Azerbaijan, Armenia mark new phase in normalization talks at Antalya forum
On April 12, 2025, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting in Antalya, Türkiye, as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. This meeting marked an important step in the ongoing dialogue between the two countries.
According to a statement released by Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry on the social media platform X, the ministers discussed the current progress in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Caliber.Az reports.
Specifically, they reviewed the recent finalization of the text of the Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations.
Both Bayramov and Mirzoyan expressed their commitment to continue the dialogue, underscoring their readiness to advance the normalization process further. The press release indicated that both parties remain focused on constructive engagement to foster long-term peace and cooperation.
