Azerbaijan, Armenia withdrawing troops from border Border guards to serve there

The Armenian National Security Service has announced that the Armenian border troops will officially protect the sections of the border in the Tavush district (Tovuzgala) - 1.9 kilometres near Berkaber village and 4.9 kilometres near Voskepar (Askipara) and Baganis villages from May 24.

A 5.8 kilometre-section of the state border near Kirants (Guney) village will be protected until July 24, 2024 according to a transitional scheme, Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian media.

The same sections of the Azerbaijani border will be protected by the units of the Azerbaijani State Border Service from May 24.
