Azerbaijan Army joins multinational exercise in United Arab Emirates

A group of servicemen from the Azerbaijan Army has departed for the United Arab Emirates to take part in the joint operational-tactical exercise Peace Shield – 2026.

The main objective of the exercise is to enhance the professional skills of the participating countries’ military contingents in anti-terror operations, contribute to the maintenance of lasting peace, and gain mutual experience, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence told Caliber.Az.

The Peace Shield – 2026 joint operational-tactical exercise is scheduled to be conducted on February 2–3.
