Azerbaijan Army takes part in EFES-2026 multinational military drills in Türkiye VIDEO
Preparatory training for the EFES-2026 multinational military exercise, held in the Republic of Türkiye with the participation of Azerbaijani Armed Forces personnel, is progressing successfully, according to the Defence Ministry.
The exercise involves troops from multiple participating countries carrying out practical combat scenarios in line with the training plan. Units are conducting operations designed to simulate modern warfare conditions, including countering mock enemy attacks and sabotage attempts in populated areas, securing key infrastructure, and performing coordinated battlefield medical evacuation, Caliber.Az reports.
Training also includes combat operations in complex environments such as tunnels, bunkers, and caves, reflecting urban and underground warfare scenarios.
Artillery units, mortars, and unmanned aerial vehicles are being used during the drills to simulate the destruction of enemy personnel and armoured equipment.
Officials said servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army have demonstrated a high level of professionalism and combat readiness while completing assigned tasks.
