The Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army recently played host to a significant meeting with a delegation from the Turkish National Defence Ministry’s Press and Public Relations Department.

The gathering focused on exchanging insights and strategies related to military communication, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

According to the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, the meeting commenced with Colonel Anar Eyvazov, head of the press service, delivering a comprehensive report on the Ministry's communication strategy. This strategy, approved by Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, detailed the achievements in information dissemination during the 44-day Patriotic War and subsequent military operations. Eyvazov also highlighted the measures taken to counter disinformation.

The Turkish delegation, in turn, provided a briefing on the communication efforts within the Turkish Armed Forces. The meeting witnessed a detailed exchange of views on the organization of strategic communication within the armies of both Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Discussions also centered on effective media engagement practices and explored future prospects for collaboration in the realm of military information.
