The meeting focused on between Azerbaijan and Bangladesh, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry.

The two sides highlighted the development of Azerbaijan-Bangladesh ties, based on friendship and mutual respect, and expressed satisfaction with the mutual support provided by both countries within international organisations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and D-8. They emphasised the significant potential to expand cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy, education, and culture.

The meeting also noted the participation of Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus in the COP29 conference and recent high-level contacts between the two countries’ leaders.
