Azerbaijan, Belarus deepen ties in all areas, speaker says

Relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are developing dynamically in all directions, including as a result of close contacts between the leaders of the two countries, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, has stated.

She said that Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus’s National Assembly, Igor Sergeyenko, is visiting Azerbaijan not only on an official trip but also to represent Belarus at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

“Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus is consistently strengthening across all areas. The friendly relations between the heads of state should be particularly noted,” Gafarova added.
