Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss construction, safety cooperation on WUF13 sidelines PHOTO

The Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with Belarusian Minister of Architecture and Construction Aleksandr Studnev on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the meeting highlighted the importance of WUF13 and expressed confidence that the participation of the Belarusian delegation in this prestigious event would make a significant contribution to strengthening close friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries.

It was underlined that relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are developing rapidly thanks to the forward-looking policies of the leaders of both countries, based on mutual respect and trust.

In this context, the sides noted considerable potential for further expansion of ties between the relevant agencies in the fields of construction and security.

The two officials also held a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
