Azerbaijan, Belarus mull regional security issues

On September 25, Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister, Col. Gen. Zakir Hasanov, met with the Belarus Army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Pavel Muraveiko, during the 5th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX).

The meeting underscored the significance of further developing bilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, with discussions focused on expanding existing ties, Caliber.Az reports per Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The parties exchanged views on regional security issues.

Zakir Hasanov also held discussions with Dmitry Pantus, Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus.

The meeting featured a detailed exchange of opinions on various aspects of military-technical cooperation.
