Azerbaijan-Belarus relations in focus as new ambassador presents credentials PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pinevich, during an official meeting.
According to a statement from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Pinevich presented a copy of his credentials to Minister Bayramov, as per Caliber.Az.
The Foreign Minister congratulated Ambassador Pinevich on his appointment and expressed his best wishes for success in his new diplomatic mission.
The discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as exploring avenues for further enhancing the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the progress made in various sectors, including political, trade, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, and tourism exchanges.
The importance of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was highlighted as a key element in advancing economic relations between the two countries. Additionally, the officials emphasized the significance of the close partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus within regional and international organizations, including the United Nations (UN), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Non-Aligned Movement. Both sides reiterated their mutual support within these frameworks.
Ambassador Pinevich thanked Minister Bayramov for the warm reception and assured him of his commitment to further strengthening the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
