Azerbaijan boosts trade with Turkic states to $7.3 billion, prime minister says
Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) rose by more than 5% in 2025, reaching $7.3 billion, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said.
Speaking at a meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Asadov noted that Azerbaijan’s total investments in these countries have reached $21 billion, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He underscored the importance of further expanding trade and investment ties among member states, highlighting the role of joint investment funds established with partner countries. These mechanisms, he said, are helping channel mutual investments into priority sectors and strengthen overall economic cooperation.
“At the same time, our current potential significantly exceeds these figures,” Asadov stated. “Increasing mutual trade turnover, advancing investment projects, deepening industrial cooperation, and expanding collaboration in agriculture, the digital economy, small and medium-sized enterprises, innovation, and high technologies will allow us to fully realize our economic potential,” he added.
