Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina sign military cooperation plan PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina have signed a military cooperation plan as part of the Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov's official visit to Sarajevo. The document was inked during Zakir Hasanov's meeting with the country’s Minister of Defence, Zukan Helez, which featured discussions on the current state of and future prospects for military cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on expanding bilateral defence relations and emphasized that mutual visits and high-level meetings play a vital role in enhancing collaboration and facilitating the exchange of military experience, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ninistry.
The sides also held in-depth discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest within the military and defence sectors.
At the conclusion of the talks, the two ministers signed a military cooperation plan between the defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following the signing ceremony, a joint press conference was held.
As part of his visit, Colonel General Hasanov also toured a defence industry enterprise and another military facility, where he familiarized himself with production processes and the technical capabilities of the equipment in use.
