Azerbaijan, Brazil forge agricultural partnership Through new Memorandum of Understanding
Azerbaijan and Brazil have formalized a new partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of agriculture.
The agreement, announced by Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov on the social media platform X, aims to boost investment and enhance mutual trade between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports.
The MoU was signed by Minister Mammadov and Brazilian Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Carlos Fávaro, on the margins of the G20 Agriculture Ministers’ meeting.
The agreement outlines plans for the exchange of scientific and technological innovations, the sharing of expertise and specialists, the creation of joint ventures, and increased investment opportunities.
Minister Mammadov highlighted that the memorandum will significantly advance friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil. He emphasized that the agreement is expected to play a crucial role in developing inter-country trade and investment in the agribusiness sector.
