Azerbaijan, Brazil strengthen cooperation on urban development initiatives PHOTO

Anar Guliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, held talks with Brazil’s Minister of Cities Antonio Vladimir Moura Lima during his visit to New York, focusing on ways to further develop bilateral cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation within the framework of the Baku Continuity Coalition, established at the initiative of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Egypt, and the UAE, as well as opportunities for implementing joint projects, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Anar Guliyev highlighted Brazil’s participation in the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, the country’s contribution to the global urban development dialogue, and its active involvement in other events hosted by Azerbaijan.

The chairman of the State Committee expressed confidence that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil would continue to grow and further strengthen.
