Azerbaijan briefs Uzbek military delegation on cybersecurity, combat control systems Photo
Azerbaijan's First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, hosted a briefing for a visiting military delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, as part of their official visit to Azerbaijan.
The delegation was given an in-depth overview of Azerbaijan's cybersecurity efforts, specifically focusing on the protection of modern weapon systems and information technology integrated into the armament of the Azerbaijan Army, Caliber.Az reports via the Defence Ministry.
Officials highlighted the use of advanced, AI-based cyber defence tools designed to counter emerging cyber threats. The Uzbek delegation was provided with detailed information on the latest initiatives being implemented to enhance the cybersecurity infrastructure of the Azerbaijan military.
Following the cybersecurity briefing, the delegation visited the Combat Control Center of the Azerbaijan Air Force. Representatives were briefed on the center's structure, operational principles, and the modern management systems that support its functions. The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where Uzbek guests had their queries addressed by Azerbaijani military officials.
