Azerbaijan, Bulgaria eying development of interstate, interparliamentary cooperation PHOTO

Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova has met with a delegation led by President of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Rosen Dimitrov Zhelyazkov, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were described as friendly countries and strategic partners, the Milli Majlis told Caliber.Az.

The sides emphasized that energy cooperation occupies a key place in the development of interstate relations, and hailed the importance of cooperation between the two countries in economic, energy, scientific and educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

They also exchanged views on prospects for development of interstate and interparliamentary cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
