Azerbaijan, China explore enhanced cooperation in defence industry

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev held a significant meeting with a visiting delegation from China, led by Hu Zhongming, Chairman of the Board of Aerospace Long-March International Trade Co (ALIT), to deepen bilateral ties in the defense sector.

The discussions underscored the fruitful and ongoing collaboration between Azerbaijan and China in defence industrial development, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

The sides explored potential pathways to expand their partnership, focusing on joint initiatives and strategic cooperation.

In addition to reviewing existing cooperation frameworks, the meeting featured an extensive exchange of views on broader topics of mutual interest, reflecting the shared commitment of both nations to strengthen their defence industry ties and enhance technological and commercial collaboration.
