Azerbaijan condoles with Pakistan over deadly terrorist attack

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has expressed its condolences to Pakistan over the deadly terrorist attack in at a mosque in Peshawar.

The text of condolences was published on the ministry's Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.

"[We were] Shocked and saddened by the news on terrorist attack at the mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish speedy recovery for injured. Our solidarity and support is with brotherly Islamic Republic of Pakistan," the ministry tweeted.

At least 44 people were killed in an explosion at a mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar (northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa near the border with Afghanistan).

Another 157 people were injured.
