Azerbaijan continues intense work on restoration of historical heritage in liberated territories - minister
"The main goal of Azerbaijan is to restore the liberated territories and cultural heritage," Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Kerimov said at an event entitled "The cultural economy in Azerbaijan: Shusha - impulses for development."
"Today, along with the restoration of the liberated territories, we are actively working to restore the historical heritage, culture, values, and traditions of Karabakh," he said, according to Trend.
The minister stressed that Azerbaijan has every opportunity to implement this initiative.
According to Kerimov, the creative industry is gaining importance in the development of the cultural economy.
He stressed that the ministry has developed a strategy for the development of the creative industry.
"This strategy covers all the necessary areas, including export potential, state support, encouragement, and increasing this sector's share of the total GDP. We are confident that the conditions we have created will help attract the private sector to this area," the minister said.
He added that private entrepreneurs in the creative industries have already started implementing projects.
