Azerbaijan deeply concerned over ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, FM Bayramov says
Azerbaijan continues to express deep concern over the ongoing armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov following bilateral talks in Moscow, Bayramov said the conflict has had serious humanitarian and regional consequences, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
"We remain deeply concerned about the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine. It is causing human suffering and has a significantly negative impact on stability in the broader region," Bayramov said.
He stressed that Azerbaijan remains committed to the principles and norms of international law and continues to advocate for reducing tensions and achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
