Azerbaijan defenсe minister attends security exhibition in Slovakia Photo

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, visited the IDEB Defence & Security exhibition during an official trip to the Slovak Republic, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said.

At the exhibition, participants reviewed a range of defence industry products and observed live demonstrations, including robot-assisted explosive ordnance disposal operations and simulated attacks on wheeled and tracked vehicles using the “Patron FPV” unmanned aerial vehicle, Caliber.Az reports.

The visit formed part of broader engagements aimed at showcasing emerging defence technologies and operational capabilities in the security sector.

During the trip, Hasanov also met with Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Jaromír Zůna. The two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral defence cooperation and strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic, according to the ministry.
