Azerbaijan discovers new human remains in Khojavand
On the territory of liberated Khojavand District's Erkul village, Azerbaijani workers engaged in repair and construction work have found human bones.
Immediately after receiving information, employees of the Khojavand district police department visited the scene of the incident, the cief inspector of the Barda regional group of the Interior Ministry press service, Aslan Giyasli, told Caliber.Az.
"During the preliminary investigation, it turned out that the bones were found during a landslide that occurred after rains in the area. The bones were collected and sent for examination. An investigation is currently underway," he said.
Earlier, Azerbaijan discovered the remains of 12 Azerbaijani servicemen in the district's Edilli village, who were killed during the first Karabakh war with Armenia in the early 1990s.
