A new group of former internally displaced families has moved to the village of Tazabina in the Khojaly district.
Thus, 27 families, comprising 117 individuals, are set to resettle in the village on October 14, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
This latest relocation brings the total number of families who have returned to Tazabina to 83, representing 368 people.
Hasan Zeynalov, a resident of the village, said he and his family were preparing to go back after years of forced displacement.
“Everyone knows the conditions under which we left Tazabina. At the time, we had no idea what lay ahead. Over the years of displacement, we faced many hardships. Thankfully, the difficult days are behind us. We are returning with my children and grandchildren, and we are incredibly happy,” he said.
