Azerbaijan is reshaping its economy by boosting public-private partnerships and encouraging private investment in non-oil sectors, infrastructure projects, digital transformation, and export-focused industries, Euronews reports.
The country is drawing increasing global attention as it diversifies investment beyond oil. Authorities report that over the past five years, more than $29 billion in foreign direct investment has entered Azerbaijan, with Turkiye, Switzerland, and the United States among the top investors.
Recent reforms to the investment framework, along with new PPP legislation, are creating opportunities across infrastructure, digital innovation, and export-driven sectors.
The government emphasises that its long-term strategy focuses on fostering a competitive business environment and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
