Azerbaijan emphasizes Middle Corridor's strategic role in green energy, technology transfer

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Khazar Ibrahim has hailed Middle Corridor's strategic role in green energy and technology transfer as he addressed the 8th annual Trans-Caspian Forum, which focused on enhancing the capacity of the Middle Corridor.

“The Green Energy Corridor from the Caspian to the European Union, proposed by Azerbaijan, is envisioned as a vital component of the Middle Corridor, facilitating not only the transportation of goods but also the transfer of energy and technologies,” the ambassador said, Report informs.

Ambassador Ibrahim highlighted the strategic significance of the Middle Corridor, underscoring its potential to become a major conduit for sustainable energy solutions and technological innovations.

"We hope to be able to work with all interested partners [along the Middle Corridor route], but we also hope that the United States will remain one of the most important and faithful friends of this region," he emphasized.
