Azerbaijan, Ethiopia move to seal defence cooperation deal

Azerbaijan and Ethiopia are set to deepen cooperation in the defence sector under a draft intergovernmental agreement currently before parliament in Baku.

A bill approving the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on cooperation in the field of defence” has been submitted to the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan’s parliament, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The proposal is scheduled to be reviewed on April 14 by the parliamentary committee on international relations and interparliamentary ties.
