Azerbaijan evacuates 1,899 people from Iran
From 08:00 on February 28 to 18:00 on 8 March, a total of 1,899 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, Report reports.
Among them: 314 Azerbaijani, 538 Chinese, 290 Russian, 173 Tajik, 123 Pakistani, 57 Omani, 44 Italian, 32 Indonesian, 26 each from Spain and Iran, 18 Saudi, 17 Japanese, 16 French, 14 German, 13 Georgian, 12 Uzbek, 10 each from Bulgaria, DR Congo, and Nigeria, 8 each from Brazil, the UK, and Kazakhstan, 7 Belarusian, 6 each from UAE, Slovakia, and Canada, 5 each from Serbia, Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Austria, 4 each from Bahrain, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Türkiye, Hungary, Belgium, and Kuwait, 3 each from the Philippines, Qatar, Mexico, Finland, Romania, and Croatia, 4 Bangladeshi, 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, India, and Cyprus, and 1 each from Poland, Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Sweden, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt, and the United States. The evacuees also included diplomatic staff.
