Azerbaijan's Astara checkpoint facilitates evacuation of another 50 from Iran PHOTO / UPDATED
On March 3, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., 50 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Among the evacuees were seven Azerbaijani citizens. The group also included 16 Chinese nationals, 15 Russians, three South Africans, two Georgians, and one each from the Philippines, Italy, and Nigeria. Two of the Russian evacuees were embassy staff members, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The evacuation was conducted through the Astara border customs checkpoint, as authorities continue efforts to safely transport foreign and local citizens amid ongoing regional instability.

Today, March 3, between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm Baku time, 66 foreign nationals were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Among them were 19 Azerbaijani citizens, 32 Omani citizens, four Swiss, three Mexicans, three Chinese, and two Pakistanis, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Notably, the total number of people evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan on March 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., reached 182.
