Azerbaijan evacuates Polish diplomats from Iran via Astara border crossing PHOTO

The evacuation of foreign nationals from Iran through the Astara border crossing into Azerbaijan is ongoing, authorities confirmed.

As part of the operation, 10 members of the Polish diplomatic mission were safely evacuated from Iran and have successfully entered Azerbaijani territory, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Officials said the evacuation is being conducted in accordance with established procedural and security protocols.

Measures have been put in place at the border crossing to ensure the safe and comfortable passage of citizens, with the process continuing in stages throughout the day.
