Azerbaijan evacuates some 312 people from Iran via its border
A total of 312 people have been evacuated from Iran through the Azerbaijani border after military strikes launched by the United States and Israel on February 28.
According to the reported figures, 101 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border between February 28 and 10:00 a.m. on March 2, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
In addition to Azerbaijani nationals, dozens of foreign citizens were evacuated via the same route. These included 76 citizens of China, 39 of Russia, 32 of Pakistan, 18 of Saudi Arabia, 18 of Tajikistan, six of the United Arab Emirates, four Jordanians, three Qataris, three Bangladeshis, two Filipinos, two Nepalis, and one citizen each from Türkiye, Italy, Poland, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, France, and Brazil.
