Azerbaijan evacuates thirty foreigners from Iran through Astara border crossing

Thirty people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan through the Astara state border crossing, including diplomats and foreign nationals from several countries.

The group included 10 diplomats representing Russia, Pakistan, and the Czech Republic. The remaining evacuees were primarily citizens of Tajikistan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Of the total, 18 were Tajik citizens, while one person each was from Türkiye and Kazakhstan.

The evacuation was carried out via the Astara state border crossing on the Iran–Azerbaijan border.
