Azerbaijan, expands global partnerships with ESCAP memorandum

The Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), marking a step toward enhanced institutional collaboration.

The agreement was signed during a meeting between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and ESCAP Executive Secretary Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana on the sidelines of the organization’s 82nd session, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The memorandum is expected to provide a framework for future cooperation between AIDA and ESCAP, reflecting a shared interest in advancing development initiatives and regional engagement.
