Azerbaijan explores new avenues for international cooperation at UN Assembly
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry shared the details of the meeting on the social platform X, per Caliber.Az.

During the talks, the ministers explored the potential for advancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia in both bilateral and multilateral spheres.
The conversation also touched on Azerbaijan's upcoming COP29 presidency initiatives, the post-conflict situation in the region, and the country's ongoing efforts to promote peace.
In a separate meeting, Minister Bayramov held discussions with Angolan Foreign Minister Tete Antonio, focusing on cooperation within international organizations, particularly the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
“I was pleased to meet with Angolan Foreign Minister Tete Antonio at the 79th UN General Assembly session. We expressed satisfaction with the current level of collaboration within international organizations, especially the UN and NAM, and reaffirmed the importance of continuing to explore prospects for bilateral cooperation,” Bayramov stated.
