Azerbaijan eyes to return over 40,000 residents to Jabrayil, Gubadli, Zangilan till 2027 Statement by President’s special rep

Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts Vahid Hajiyev has said that more than 40,000 internally displaced people are expected to be resettled in the towns and villages of Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts as part of the “Great Return 2022-2026” programme.

Hajiyev made these remarks at the second Azerbaijan National Urban Forum in Zangilan, Report informs.

“The infrastructure projects are being implemented in the liberated territories. Some 200 private eco-friendly houses were built by using innovative building materials in Agali village of Zangilan district. More than 600 citizens live in 134 houses,” he added.
