Azerbaijan, Germany discuss boosting bilateral cooperation
As part of his working visit to Germany, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of the country Thomas Bagger.
The sides exchanged views on the issues of bilateral cooperation, discussed the talks between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers held in Berlin. They emphasized the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, expressed keenness to further develop ties, the ministry told Caliber.Az reports.
FM Bayramov said the slander campaign carried out against Azerbaijan within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, European Union and other platforms is unacceptable. Thomas Bagger was informed about the prospects for the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the latest negotiations held, Baku's stance on the draft peace agreement. The Azerbaijani FM expressed gratitude to the German side for its support in organizing meetings to advance the process.
