Azerbaijan hails Turkic unity as source of strength, stability
Azerbaijan has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening cooperation within the framework of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
According to Caliber.Az, in a statement on X marking October 3 – the Turkic States Cooperation Day – Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the significance of the date, which commemorates the signing of the Nakhchivan Agreement, the founding document of the OTS.

“Heartfelt congratulations to our brotherly Turkic nations on October 3, the Turkic States Cooperation Day. This landmark day, when the Nakhchivan Agreement was signed, laid the foundation for the Organisation of Turkic States and celebrates the solidarity and unity of the Turkic world, bound by a shared history, language and culture,” the ministry said.
The statement added that Azerbaijan remains committed to strengthening collaboration within the OTS and building a shared future, emphasising that “Turkic unity is a source of strength, stability and prosperity.”
