Azerbaijan’s National Defence University (NDU) has launched a high-level Strategic Studies and State Defence Administration course, bringing together military and government representatives from Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye.

The course, held at the Military Administration Institute, aims to enhance trilateral military cooperation and professional development among the participating countries, Caliber.Az reports Defence Ministry.

On the opening day, NDU Rector Major General Gunduz Abdulov welcomed the attendees, congratulating them on behalf of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence leadership.

Major General Abdulov highlighted the strong ties of friendship, brotherhood, and alliance between Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye, emphasising the importance of this cooperation in advancing military education across all three nations. He also underlined ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan’s military education system, guided by the country’s Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.

The program includes lectures on international affairs, global security, foreign policy, strategy and defence planning, state defence, and resource management, complemented by group exercises and practical training designed to improve joint operational capabilities among the participating states.
