Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in military information PHOTO
Representatives of the defence ministries of Azerbaijan, Hungary and Kazakhstan have discussed cooperation and exchanged experience in military information during a working meeting in Baku, the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence has said.
It noted that the meeting was hosted by the Media and Public Affairs Department of the ministry, where the delegations were briefed on its communication strategy and the department’s activities, Caliber.Az reports.
The participants also discussed information support during the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani Army, as well as subsequent military operations and measures taken to counter disinformation.
The delegations were further briefed on the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry’s work in information and communications, civil-military cooperation (CIMIC), public relations, official social media platforms and handling citizens’ appeals.
The sides exchanged views on strategic communications, information activities and CIMIC within the armed forces of the three countries, while also discussing prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of military information.
The visiting delegations also toured the Military Publishing House, the editorial office of the “Azərbaycan Ordusu” (Azerbaijan Army) newspaper and the Multimedia Centre.
