Azerbaijan, Iran discuss bilateral agreements reached

Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazarpash held a telephone conversation between the co-chairmen of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission.

During the telephone conversation, Mustafayev expressed condolences over the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and others in a helicopter crash, APA reports.

Bazarpash expressed gratitude for the Azerbaijani delegation's participation in the Tehran farewell ceremony.

The sides emphasised the importance of implementing the agreements reached at the meeting of the two countries' presidents during the opening ceremony of the Giz Galasi hydroelectric complex.
