Azerbaijan, Israel strengthen ties in emergency management cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, has met with Ronen Krausz, the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to the country, to discuss bilateral cooperation in emergency management between the two nations.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that Heydarov underscored the steadily expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Israel, grounded in mutual respect and friendship. He highlighted that effective collaboration between the respective agencies of both nations in addressing emergencies continues successfully, Caliber.Az reports.
During the meeting, Heydarov briefed Ambassador Kraus on Azerbaijan’s ongoing initiatives to prevent emergencies and manage their consequences, emphasizing the significant potential for further developing cooperation between the two ministries across multiple areas.
Ambassador Krausz praised the current level of bilateral relations, particularly noting the productive collaboration in emergency management.
The discussions also included a wide-ranging exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, signaling a shared commitment to strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and Israel in civil protection and disaster response.
