Azerbaijan issues safety alert for citizens in Israel

Amid heightened tensions linked to developments in Iran, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to Israel.

According to a statement cited by Caliber.Az, the ministry also issued recommendations for Azerbaijani nationals currently in Israel.

“We urge our citizens in Israel to monitor the security situation, follow the instructions of local authorities, and avoid places of mass gatherings.

In case of any emergency, our citizens can contact the Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel by phone at +972 54 539 77 88 or by email at telaviv@mission.mfa.gov.az,” the statement said.
