Azerbaijan, Italy deepen cooperation in military education PHOTO

A delegation led by Major General Gunduz Abdullov, Rector of the National Defence University, visited the Higher Studies Centre during an official trip to Italy, strengthening bilateral collaboration in military education.

Lieutenant General Stefano Mannino, Director of the Higher Studies Centre of Italy’s National Defence University, stressed that the existing cooperation between the two countries in military education is built on a strong partnership and mutual trust, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani National Defence University.

Major General Abdullov noted that the meetings and discussions held during the visit will create new opportunities for further bilateral cooperation in military education, support the exchange of experience and enhance interaction between the defence establishments of Azerbaijan and Italy.

The guests were then shown a presentation on the history of the Centre’s establishment, its training model, strategic goals and main areas of activity, followed by detailed answers to the Azerbaijani delegation’s questions.

At the end of the visit, Major General Abdullov signed the guest book.
