The meeting was convened to strengthen cooperation among D-8 countries, align priorities for international climate negotiations, and develop a common approach to global climate action in preparation for COP31, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Taghiyeva, who presented the country's initiatives to address climate change, expand international climate cooperation, and contribute to the global climate agenda.
