Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss bolstering economic ties

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan discussed strengthening economic ties, Azerbaijan Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov wrote on X, according to Report.

"We exchanged views with Kazakhstan's presidential adviser Kanat Bozumbayev on strengthening economic ties between our countries, increasing trade turnover, stimulating investments and expanding cooperation in the transport and transit sphere," the minister wrote.

It should be noted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is growing every year. 

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan increased by 40 per cent and reached $450 million last year.

During the six months of the current year, the volume of trade turnover between the two countries topped $300 million.
