Azerbaijan's customs clarifies details of $960 imports from Armenia

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has clarified data regarding imports of goods from Armenia worth $960 in March 2026.

In response to a request from Report, the agency said the shipment consisted of roses imported from the Netherlands to Armenia and then onward to Azerbaijan.

The committee explained that, under foreign trade statistics rules, the country of origin is recorded as the partner country for import statistics.

In this case, the flowers (roses) were therefore reflected in customs data as imports from Armenia.
