Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss strategic partnership, Turkic States summit preparations
On September 29, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with newly appointed Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev, to discuss strategic partnership, and reparations for the upcoming OTS summit in Azerbaijan’s Gabala.
FM Bayramov extended his congratulations to Kosherbayev on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new role, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministers expressed mutual satisfaction with the robust state of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership, underscoring that ongoing high-level contacts and official visits continue to bolster bilateral cooperation. Both ministers conveyed strong confidence that their countries will persist in deepening this multidimensional partnership through sustained joint efforts.
Furthermore, Bayramov and Kosherbayev highlighted the crucial importance of enhancing collaboration within regional and international platforms. They exchanged updates regarding the preparations for the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which is scheduled to take place in October in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
In response, Yermek Kosherbayev thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the warm congratulations and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the multifaceted cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
