Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan joint exercise enhances military cooperation PHOTO
The joint tactical-special exercise, Altyn Kyran – 2024 (Golden Eagle – 2024), is currently underway at the Koktal training ground in Zharkent, Kazakhstan.
This exercise is conducted under a collaborative plan between the defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Caliber.Az reports.
During the exercise, commanders of combat units have carried out reconnaissance tasks and reported their findings to the exercise command headquarters. Participants navigated a 25-kilometer route to identify and raid shelters used by illegal armed formations in the mountainous terrain. They successfully executed operations involving the ambush and neutralization of vehicle convoys and personnel from these illegal groups.
The primary goals of Altyn Kyran – 2024 are to enhance the interoperability between Azerbaijani and Kazakh troops, refine reconnaissance skills, advance camouflage techniques in both mountainous and desert environments, and foster mutual experience exchange.
