Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan reaffirm strategic alliance in New York talks
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu, on the margins of the High-Level Week of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting was shared via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s official account on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Both ministers underscored the strength of the bilateral alliance, describing it as rooted in shared history, mutual respect, and growing political trust. They praised the robust and evolving political dialogue between Baku and Astana and welcomed the upward trajectory in economic cooperation.
FMs Bayramov and Nurtleu stressed the pivotal role of sustained high-level contacts in bolstering not only bilateral ties but also cooperation within broader multilateral platforms. Particular emphasis was placed on further aligning regional initiatives and enhancing collaboration within organizations such as the Turkic States Organization and the United Nations.
