Azerbaijan, Korea hail successful development of bilateral ties
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met today with the Special Representative of the Korean Foreign Minister Beik Ju Hyon.
At the meeting, Jeyhun Bayramov noted the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea and the availability of ample opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in many areas, MFA told Caliber.Az.
Satisfaction was expressed with cooperation in economy, high technology, energy, education, tourism, and a number of other areas. Jeyhun Bayramov underscored developing ties in the field of education and spoke about the work of the Baku State Center for Vocational Education for Industry and Innovation, established on the basis of Korean educational standards.
The minister further informed the interlocutor in detail about the reconstruction and construction works carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated lands.
The special representative of the Korean Foreign Minister, in turn, emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations and touched on the prospects for cooperation between Korea and Azerbaijan in the areas of investment, education, shipping, demining, transport, communications, water supply, and other areas. He noted that Korean companies are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan.
