Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan sign Memorandum on Cooperation in religious sphere
Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in the religious sphere.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee for Work with Religious Structures of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on Religious Affairs of Kyrgyzstan during the visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
From the Azerbaijani side the document was signed by the chairman of the State Committee Ramin Mammadov, from the opposite side by the director of the Kyrgyz State Commission on Religious Affairs Toigonbai Abdykarov.
The document provides for the exchange of information and experience in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of religion, support for partnership between religious educational institutions and cooperation on other issues of mutual interest.
